part 2 and 3

PART 2

1782, shots fired at president lincoln sitting in the passenger seat of his car, cause: due to "poor presidency" stated the murderer. Clearly president Lincoln was killed, two shots were fired through the windshield of his car, he laid there unresponsive.
March 12, 2013, president obama and governor hillary clinton argue at the airport in washington about why she should be obamas wife instead of Michelle. Obama and Clinton arguing at washington airport,  a very angered Clinton, points finger at Obama demanding him to leave Michelle.

Present day japan, a monk (Quan Sho) running down the streets of japan on fire during a monk protest. Monk Quan Sho, leader of the monks in japan runs down the streets of japan while he was on fire as a sign of power and braveness. One Monk does this per year.

PART 3

Framing
I set this photo as framing. I chose framing as a element for this photo because it is clear that the edge of the photo is being surrounded by leaves and trees. The leaves and trees almost forces you to bring your eyes to the main focus of the photo (the woman)
Background
I chose the photo element of background because nothing much is going on in the background of this photo. The noise is definitely deleted from the background bringing the eye to focus on the soldier.
Balancing
I chose the photo element of balancing in this photo. You have a woman flying high over a balance beam. The woman is almost perfectly symmetrical and parallel to the balance beam.
Rule of thirds
I chose the photo element of rule of thirds in this photo. The is a dog running down the middle of a street with a crowd surrounding him. Although the main focus is on the dog, you can pull pieces out of this photo and create other images.

self portrait

TIP # 1: Approaching Unfamiliar Cultures

TIP #2: Use your imagination

TIP #3: You can create an especially revealing self-portrait by adding personal memorabilia surrounding your mirrored image

ENVIRONMENTAL
I chose this portrait because it is very well color coordinated the dress real brings out the environment
i chose this portrait because even though she is in a sewer the photo is still very casual looking

great black and white part 3

As i put myself in this picture i can't feel the breeze (no pun intented). I feel the dry wind push against my skin and the branches beside me. Although i am at the highest peak of my town i see people staring at me. As they walk past i can hear the cackle of some and the surprised look of others. By the smell of the almost dead tree beside me, i can almost taste the decaying remains of it.
The photographer took this photo to give the viewer the dark, dry feeling of it. Although this is a dark room, as i focus i can see the brightness of this beautiful white plant. I taste the dry air, and i smell the plant. I can imagine death and the white plant being the "bright light". I feel nothing but the fear of the darkness.

academic photo shoot

i followed this rule of leading lines very well. it is obvious to the viewer that this is leading lines.
i did not do very well on this rule (balance). maybe to make it more obvious i could have taken the photo from a side angle so the viewer could see that the pencil is sit balanced on a table.
i followed the rule of simplicity very well. the kid is coin nothing more than writing on a piece of paper. this is very obvious to the viewer
Framing. . . i followed this rule good. two guy are standing in the door frame posing. i believe the viewer would recognize this rule
I used rule of third in this picture very well. it is at picture of the library with students and teachers in the corner of the room.

academic photo shoot preview

THE STORY
this photo shows the best story a group of young men maybe at a church camp all praying together.

ACTION AND EMOTION
this photo describes the best action because there is a lot going on the photo. theres water flying and people playing.
FILLING THE FRAME
i titled this picture filling the frame because there is a lot of people in the photo. it fills the whole frame of the photo

mural project

our mural project should be done over football. we are making history at akins and it would be nice to capture that. photos cant be found on the football field or at the games. . . it should have a very positive effect of students and make them proud to be a eagle.

Mural project review

To create a unique mural story here at Akins, i would include photos of previous football teams here at and then pictures of the present team. I would do this to show the improvement in the teams, being that we are going to playoffs and no team in akins history has ever done that.

This theme i am thinking of provides a inspiring story. Students will be interested because they have something to be proud of.

The advantages of using a phone camera is jst the interesting fact that you are using a phone camera. the disadvantages are that phone cameras don't have the best quality.

Although the slr camera isn't the greatest camera. The advantages of using a slr camera is that it is much better than a phone.

For this project we should use the slr rather than a phone camera for better quality.

africa: black and white

reactions when i saw these photos were " oooo, ahhh . . . . how nice".

My favorite photo was the picture of the lion.

The photo of the lion is my favorite because it almost feels as if I'm in the lions face.

The rule of photography that is evident in this picture is "simplicity" because the photo is real up and personal with the lion. The lion is the main focus.

nick uses a pentax 6 x 7 camera.

Nicks purpose of take these photos is to capture pictures of the animals and the landscape.

Nick hopes to capture the personality of the animals.

"You wouldn't take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and expect to capture their spirit; you'd move in close."

fire quick write

there is a man in the corner of this photo, jumping into a fire. It seems to be maybe some advertisement of some sort. maybe a party theme or something. it looks really cool, the fire makes the streets look like water. the man looks like he's running away from a riot. there are people behind him with flags.

I think its pretty funny how the little girl may be taking a selfie while everyone else is praying. however some may find this picture a sign of disrespect. I like the picture. This photo shows repetition.

national geographic warm up

I chose this picture out of the many photos as my favorite because it is very symetrical . I think its really cool to look at.  It almost stands out as an illusion of some sort.

rule of third

The placement of the buildings in this photo best describes the photo composition rule of third.

lines

i chose lines for this photo. The dynamics of the window framing of the building best describes the photo composition of lines.

simplicity

This photo best describes the photo composition of simplicity. This photo pretty much only focuses on the flag.

framing

this picture best describes the photo compositon of framing. The two buildings together open up a picture in the sky of smoke

perspective

this picture describes the photo composition of perspective the best. It show the view of the buildings from the perspective of someone on the ground.

monster meal

if i were to ever create a meal. I would have to be a cinnamon roll topped with cinnamon toast crunch cereal, with a side of french toast <333

40 greatest photos

i picked this photo because it has a very deep emotional appeal to it. The man goes back to a take that he has previously went to war and I'm sure disturbing times in. theres isn't much about the composition of the photo that made me choose it. mostly just the emotion added to it. this photo made the cut because of the history behind it.
Associated Press / AP
i chose this photo because it shows a lot of pride. No matter who these african american men were surrounded by they still had enough pride to stand up and show their solidarity. the quality of the photo being as old as it is drew a lot of attention to it for me as well. this photo made the cut because everyone loves a little pride.
Vanderlei Almeida / Getty Images
i chose this photo because it have very sentimental value. The dog really misses his owner, even so much that he sits at his grave for 2 day. this photo made the cut because if shows a dog is really a mans best friend.
